Has anyone delved into the tattoos of missing persons and how often they help in cases? I was looking into Joe Isabel Rincon’s case from '95 and noticed he had some distinct tattoos – a cross with "Mary" and his nickname "Woody" on his arm. It got me thinking about how often these personal touches become crucial for ID purposes, especially when potential sightings are so far out from when someone first disappeared. Even after two years when someone thought they spotted him in LA, those tattoos might’ve been key in recognizing him. Do you think tattoos are reliable for identifications years down the line, particularly when someone hasn’t been in contact with friends or family? And does it strike anyone else how little was found at his apartment? Nothing unusual, no struggle, just up and vanished. How do we make sure people remember and spot those details?
