I recently came across Tiamanja Palazzo's case and noticed something odd about the discrepancy in her last known location. While most agree she vanished from Santa Rosa, NamUs lists Niagara Falls as the last point of contact in September 2010. This got me thinking—how often do such clerical errors happen, and could they potentially derail investigations? I wonder if this mix-up has sidetracked any leads or if the focus has always remained in California because of the Santa Rosa PD's involvement. Does anyone here have insight into how such discrepancies are usually handled, or know if cases have been resolved despite initial mix-ups?
