Has anyone else noticed the potential Oregon connection in Barry O'Brien's case? I was looking through some old case files, and it struck me that he had mentioned traveling to Oregon before he vanished. Given his transient lifestyle, it's plausible that he could have made it up there and ran into trouble or simply decided to start over. Has anyone done any digging into missing persons reports or unidentified remains up in Oregon around that time? It might be a long shot, but it could be worth checking into. I'm curious if anyone here has any theories or additional info on why he planned to go to Oregon in the first place.

Just been going through old files and noticed something interesting about Barry O'Brien's case. Has anyone else seen the reports mentioning he might have wanted to travel to Oregon? Given his transient lifestyle, it's possible he did actually make it there. I'm wondering if anyone from the Oregon area has heard about someone matching Barry's description or if there's been any chatter about him over the years. It's a long shot after all this time, but I'm curious about whether any local folks in places he might have stopped by ever mentioned seeing someone with his distinctive features, especially that tattoo of the letter "B" or the scar on his knee. Perhaps he made new friends or others who traveled a similar path out there have pieces of the puzzle? Just throwing out possibilities here. Thoughts?
