I can't help but feel deeply for the families of Quantasia and Kaitlyn, especially when you consider the promising future Quantasia had ahead of her. Hearing about someone so young, with dreams of starting her own beauty shop, makes this even harder to digest. It's clear she had big ambitions and was just starting to carve her path in life. Her story resonates with many of us who are working to turn our dreams into reality. It's incredibly disheartening to see moments of celebration turn into unimaginable loss. This should never have happened. I commend the community leaders for stepping up and calling for better measures to prevent violence, but it's clear we have a long way to go. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless act, hoping for justice and some form of healing in the days to come. ?

I can’t stop thinking about the shell casings found at the scene. Over 200 shell casings? That absolutely blows my mind. I really feel for the investigators who had to sift through that chaos to piece together what happened. It makes you wonder how things could escalate so quickly and so violently. But what truly saddens me is thinking about the sheer terror Quantasia and Kaitlyn must have experienced in their final moments. Two young lives ended on what should have been a night of celebration and joy. My heart goes out to their families who now have to live with this unthinkable loss. We often talk about “hopes and dreams” cut short, but for Quantasia, those dreams were so real and within reach. To have that taken away over something so senseless is just unfathomable. I hope this tragedy can spark ongoing efforts towards preventing future incidents. It’s too late for Quantasia and Kaitlyn, but maybe by raising these discussions, it won’t be too late for others.
