Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Matthew Alexander Nisleit, and something that's been on my mind is the role of social media in missing persons cases like his. It's been over six years now, and I'm wondering if anyone knows if there have been any efforts to use platforms like Facebook or Twitter to spread the word about his disappearance?
Social media can sometimes draw in so many people and resources that wouldn't normally be involved. I’ve seen it happen before where a viral post or shared information leads to new tips or even someone recognizing the missing individual. Does anyone know if Matthew's case was shared widely on social media back when he disappeared, or if there's an organized effort even now to keep his face and details circulating online?
Let's keep discussing and maybe we can brainstorm ways to harness these platforms to continue the search for him. Every bit helps!
