I've been following Micaela Navarro's case closely, and something that's really been sticking with me is the lack of any physical evidence regarding her whereabouts. I know they've charged Christopher Stephens and Ryan Sutter, but without Micaela's body, I imagine it makes the prosecution's job much tougher. From my understanding, trials without a body are rare but not impossible. Does anyone know how often these cases actually end in convictions? It seems like the detectives worked tirelessly, with all those search warrants and interviews—I can't even imagine the pressure they're under. I'm curious about how confident the authorities are in the evidence they've collected since her social media going silent seems like just one piece of a very complex puzzle.
