Hey everyone,
I just cannot stop thinking about the role of bystanders in these tragic situations, like the one involving ZyCorreyan Brown-Harris. I saw that people in the parking lot attempted CPR on him after he was shot. It’s incredible that they jumped in to help in such a dire moment. I really feel for everyone who was there that day; it must have been incredibly traumatic to witness such a devastating event. It's unfortunate they couldn't save him, but their efforts were heroic.
This got me wondering about the emotional toll incidents like this take on those who try to help. Does anyone know what kind of support is usually available for bystanders in these circumstances? It seems like there should be some kind of community support or counseling resources in place for them too, just as there is for the victim’s family. It’s tough to think about the long-lasting impact such events can have on many lives, not just those directly involved.
I hope the community can come together, not only to support Brown-Harris's family but also to assist those who witnessed and tried to help prevent this senseless loss. Thoughts?
