I've been going over Jerry McFadden's case, and one thing that caught my attention is the Black Hills gold ring he was wearing when he vanished. Could this ring have any significance? I've done a bit of research on Black Hills gold and found that it's often used for heirloom pieces or given to commemorate special occasions. Does anyone know if Jerry had any connections to South Dakota, where Black Hills gold originates, or if there was any special occasion around the time he disappeared? It just seems like such a unique item that someone might remember if they'd seen it. Maybe someone with knowledge of jewelry or pawn shops in the area at the time could chime in. Just thinking out loud, but every little detail might help us piece this puzzle together.
