I've been trying to find as much info as I can about Erick Mahood's disappearance. One thing I've been curious about is the area where he was last seen. Bishop, CA, is quite remote and surrounded by wilderness. Could it be possible that Erick ventured into the nearby mountains or trails for a hike? I'm wondering if any search efforts were focused in those areas or if the rough terrain made searching difficult. Also, did he have any history or interest in outdoor activities or hiking that might give a clue? It's just all so puzzling, and I hope the authorities have been considering all possibilities. If anyone local has insight into the geography or has seen search teams around, please share!
