Hey everyone, I've been looking into Samuel Lee's case from 1988, and I noticed something curious. There seems to be almost no media coverage or public awareness around his disappearance. For someone who's been missing for so long, it's strange that there's such limited information out there.
I've seen cases from the same era that get a lot more attention, so I wonder if there were any efforts made by local media to publicize his disappearance back then. Did this get lost in the shuffle, or was there simply not enough interest?
Why do you think some cases from that time period receive more attention than others, especially ones like Samuel's where there are vulnerable factors involved? It's so important for awareness to keep these cases alive and possibly gather new information. If anyone has insights or additional info on how media coverage was handled during that time, I'd be really interested to hear about it.
Has anyone looked into local community resources that were available for someone like Samuel back in 1988? Considering his schizophrenia, I wonder if he had any connections to mental health organizations or support groups in Oakland at the time. It’s possible there might be someone who knew Samuel from such places who hasn’t come forward yet. Sometimes, people in those communities can provide valuable insights or remember interactions that might seem small but could be significant. Anyone local at the time or familiar with the area then who could shed some light on this aspect? Would be great to hear your thoughts or if you have any suggestions on other angles to explore.
