Did anyone else dive deep into Richard's discovery on San Miguel Island? I've been reading about the tides and ocean currents in that area, and it seems unusual for his body to end up there, considering they originally departed from Ventura. I wonder if those currents could give us clues about where the "Xiao Xiang" might have drifted or where Monique could possibly be. It's such a vast area, but understanding the ocean's behavior might provide a new lead. Also, is there more background on Monique and Richard's sailing experience? Were they familiar with the coastline or relatively new to these waters?
