I can't believe the news about Fred Copeland's passing. I didn't know him personally, but as a member of the community, I really felt the positive changes he brought to Smiths Station, especially after the devastating tornado in 2019. It’s truly tragic to see someone who contributed so much to the community be caught up in such personal turmoil. It makes me wonder about the immense pressures public figures deal with, especially when it involves personal identity. I hope people will take a moment to reflect on the human side of those in the public eye, not just the persona we see. Sending all my thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, and the entire community as they navigate through this difficult time.
