I’ve been looking into the case of Rosia Maria Johnson, and something that caught my attention is the complete lack of public updates or press releases from the Oakland Police Department over the years. It's been so long, and there’s hardly any new information out there. I'm wondering if there might have been any leads or significant discoveries that weren’t shared with the public. Does anyone know if OPD has a specific protocol for handling such cases, or does it vary significantly from case to case? It feels like community awareness could be key in such long-term missing person cases. Also, is there any way for the public to access more detailed information, like through public records or requests? Just thinking out loud about how people might be able to help or at least keep the awareness alive.
