Hi everyone,
I keep thinking about how Brian was murdered in broad daylight—it's absolutely chilling. It's hard to imagine how someone could just vanish into thin air after doing something so horrific in the middle of the day. I can't help but wonder about witnesses. Were there really no witnesses who saw or heard anything they could share with the authorities, even anonymously? It's frustrating to think that there might be crucial information out there that's just waiting to be uncovered.
My heart goes out to Brian’s family and friends, who have had to endure this uncertainty for so long. It must be incredibly difficult not to have the closure they need. If anyone knows anything, no matter how insignificant it seems, I urge you to reach out to the police. Even the tiniest detail could be the missing piece detectives need to finally solve this case and bring some peace to Brian’s loved ones.
Thanks for reading, everyone. Let’s hope we can all come together to help bring justice for Brian.
Hey everyone,
I've been reading about Brian Sickles' case and one thing that stands out to me is how important it is to keep these stories alive. It’s been over eight years, and it's disheartening that there hasn’t been a breakthrough yet. Brian was gunned down in broad daylight, which is terrifying in itself, and it makes me wonder how many people might have seen something without realizing its importance.
Does anyone have thoughts on the potential role of nearby surveillance cameras or dashcam footage around 51st Street back then? With the passage of time, it's possible some people might not even remember they have relevant footage unless it's specifically brought up. Maybe someone out there has images stored, thinking they were irrelevant. I hope more people come forward with anything they might recall, no matter how minor it seems. Continuing to share his story and any details is crucial to keep pressure on solving his case.
Stay safe, and let’s keep this conversation going for Brian’s sake.
Take care,

Hey everyone, I was reading up on Brian Sickles' case and something struck me about the time and place of the incident. It's awful to think this happened in broad daylight. The 800 block of 51st Street, SE isn’t exactly an isolated area, so it makes you wonder how no one has come forward with solid information yet.
I can't help but feel for Brian's family. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful for them, hoping every day for some breakthrough. The fact that this happened eight years ago and remains unsolved is truly concerning. What’s especially distressing is the level of fear it must instill in the local community, knowing that such an act occurred out in the open. You’d think with all the surveillance technology around these days, there might be some evidence captured, but it seems like nothing substantial has been found or released.
If anyone here knows residents from the area back then, maybe try reaching out? Sometimes people don’t come forward for various reasons, but they might open up to someone they trust. Let's keep this case in our thoughts and hope someone remembers something, however small, that could help bring justice to Brian and peace to his family. The $25,000 reward could be a game-changer for some folks who were around back then and have yet to speak up. Stay safe, everyone.
