I was reading through some of the discussions about Jaime Fernandez Jr., and something struck me about the location. Big Sur is such a breathtaking yet dangerous place, especially when ocean conditions are rough. Has anyone else wondered if there have been similar incidents in that area over the years? The cliffs there are notorious for being unforgiving, and I'm curious about how often accidents like this happen. It's such a tragic loss, and I feel like perhaps there could be more safety measures in place or warnings for those less familiar with the area. Does anyone know if there have been any new developments or discussions in the community about improving safety for hikers along that stretch of coast?
