Has anyone looked into whether Manuel Estrada might have been familiar with the local areas where he liked to walk? I'm wondering if he might have ventured into some less populated or more challenging terrain and could have gotten lost or injured. That area of California has some pretty varied landscapes, and for someone new to the country, it might have been tempting to explore. I know the investigation looked into his usual walking routes, but maybe there's a chance he decided to try something different that day. If local residents have any insight into popular paths or hidden spots that aren't well-publicized, it could be helpful to share!
