Hey everyone, I was diving deep into Sheerah Dawn Erickson's case and noticed something quite odd. Has anyone else seen how there are conflicting nicknames mentioned for her? Most sources refer to her as "Bub," but I came across a couple of places online where she's referred to as "Shay." It makes me wonder if there could have been a mistake in some of the initial reports or if "Shay" was used by certain people in her life.
Could this be why some reports seem out of line or missing altogether? Maybe someone used a different name when initially reporting her missing, and that's what's caused some of the database confusion. I know it's a stretch, but with this case, it seems like anything is possible until proven otherwise. Has anyone else run into other cases where nicknames caused info to get mixed up? Would love to hear your thoughts!
I've been following Sheerah Erickson's case, and one thing that really caught my attention are her tattoos. They seem pretty distinctive, especially the Odie cartoon dog on her hip and the red heart with wings on her back. I'm wondering if these could've been seen by someone but maybe not recognized as significant at the time? Considering Bakersfield isn't tiny, you'd think someone might've noticed her tattoos and remembered seeing them somewhere even after all this time. Has anyone else thought about the possibility of her tattoos being spotted and just not connected back to her case? It’s a mystery why there’s so little emphasis on such noticeable features. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this.
