What if the wrong questions are being asked? Maybe it's not about who Cierra knew in Middletown but who her ex knows in Middletown. The ex gave a statement over the phone but won't meet with detectives. I never understood why the ex-boyfriend's name was never released. I know the name of the ex. He did time for an armed burglary and kidnapping in 2011. He was charged with domestic violence in 2016 and plead guilty to misconduct. He was arrested for murder in 2020, but the Grand Jury failed to indict, and the case was dismissed. He even had a gun charge that was dismissed six months before Cierra's disappearance.
The murder that he was suspected of was Nascia Goodwin. She was 19 years old and was found in his side yard on Gard Ave. She was declared deceased on scene from multiple gunshot wounds. A warrant found some of her personal items in his home.
