I've been following Harold Loris Drake's case since it happened, and something that's always puzzled me is his decision to go on a solo hike that morning. I know he was an experienced hiker, but even for someone like him, it seems a bit risky to tackle those trails alone, especially considering their difficulty level. Did he usually hike alone, or was this out of character for him? It's just hard to wrap my head around the lack of any evidence after such an extensive search. We're talking about a man who was not unfamiliar with nature's unpredictability, yet he vanished without leaving any trace. It makes you wonder if the search teams potentially overlooked any areas because of the vastness of the terrain or if there's something we're all missing. Such a baffling disappearance.
