I've been following Terry Lynn Collier's case for a while and came across something intriguing. It's puzzling how there are discrepancies between different databases about whether her case is open or closed. I mean, The Charley Project shows her case is still active, mentioning ongoing searches, but the Doe Network says it's closed according to NamUs. How does this even happen? Does anyone know if these are common inconsistencies in missing persons cases? The conflicting information makes it hard to know which direction the search is headed in, and it must be so frustrating and confusing for the family. If anybody has experience with how these discrepancies usually get resolved, I'd love to hear more about it.
