Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the Donald Lee Baker and Brenda Jo Howell case and came across something that piqued my interest. While reading up on Mack Ray Edwards, the man who confessed to their murders, I noticed there's been a lot of debate about the credibility of his confession. Edwards pointed out a specific spot where he said the bodies were buried, but nothing was found there. I can't help but wonder if there's a chance he might have mixed up the location? Considering the San Gabriel Canyon's vast and rugged terrain, it's possible he could have chosen the wrong area, intentionally or not. Maybe the landscape changed over the years? I know the terrain there has seen a lot of natural changes over decades, which might explain the unsuccessful search efforts. Has anyone else looked into geographical changes in that area around the time of their disappearance? Would love to hear what you all think!

I’ve been diving into old unsolved cases, and Donald Lee Baker’s disappearance caught my eye. Has anyone else noticed how the timeline with Mack Ray Edwards doesn’t fully add up? Maybe I’m overanalyzing, but it strikes me as odd that despite his confession, no evidence was ever found. If he was so clear about where he supposedly buried Donald and Brenda, why didn't it yield results? I know they searched that area, but maybe the terrain changed over time? Or could he have been misleading? Also, does anyone have any thoughts on the lack of media attention this case got back in the ‘50s and ‘60s? It’s frustrating to see how cases sometimes get overlooked. Would love to hear other theories or insights!
