Did anyone else notice the role of the Arkansas Tech University Geology Department in finding William Ward's remains? I find it interesting and wasn't aware that geology departments got involved in these kinds of investigations. Could it be that their expertise was needed because of the specific terrain where William's remains were found? I'm really curious how they contributed and how common it is for them to assist law enforcement in cases like this. If anyone has more info or insight, please share!
Anyone here familiar with the area where William Ward's remains were found? I'm curious about the Gravesville community and its surroundings. It seems like a pretty remote place to be linked to a murder investigation. Do locals know if it's a common area for such incidents or if there were any suspicious activities reported around the time of William's disappearance? Also, props to the collaboration between different agencies for coming together, including the Arkansas Tech University Geology Department. I have never heard of a geology department being involved in a case like this before. Just goes to show how complex these investigations can get!
