Hey everyone, I've been following the Lawrence Powers case from the start, and something that sticks out to me is the role of the drone technology in eventually finding his remains. It's incredible how search and rescue drones helped locate the disturbance near the campsite. Does anyone here know how common it is nowadays to use drones in cold cases like this, especially in remote areas? It seems like such a valuable tool they have at their disposal now. The fact that a drone played a part in finally bringing some closure to the case after nearly a decade is just mind-blowing to me. I remember reading up on how they can cover vast and otherwise inaccessible areas efficiently, but I'm curious if it's becoming a standard practice in investigations. Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone has more information on this technology in missing persons cases!

Hey everyone, I've been following the Lawrence John Powers case for years, and something keeps bugging me about those transactions Anthony Richards made with Powers's credit card. It's strange how Richards was so bold about using the card across three different states. I can't help but wonder if he thought he wouldn't get caught or if he was just that confident nobody would look closely into the details after Powers went missing. I mean, it's almost like he assumed nobody would notice the pattern in those transactions, or maybe there was some extreme level of naivety or arrogance involved. It's definitely one of those cases where the financial trail was a key factor in raising eyebrows initially. Anyone else find it intriguing how that eventually became central to unraveling the truth? Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has similar cases where financial traces played a crucial role.
