Has anyone come across any additional information about Olin Apatiki's activities or whereabouts before he vanished in August 1996? I've been diving into old newspaper articles and online resources, but there’s such little info about his daily life at that time. Did he have any routine places he visited or people he was close with? It’s odd that there's a mention of him being reported "deceased” the day after he disappeared, but with no follow-up or clarification on a body being found. That seems like a huge gap in understanding what might have happened. I know these cases can go cold, especially from way back, but wouldn’t there typically be more info on any searches or investigations conducted by the Nome Police back then? Any locals or people with ties to the area remember hearing anything? Trying to piece together anything that might shed light on his last known moments.
