Hey everyone, I’ve been really intrigued by the Edwin Satterwaite case lately and have been digging into some maps to better understand the geography involved in this mystery. Does anyone else find it odd that Edwin's car was found in Prichard, AL, well off the path to his sister’s in Louisiana? It makes me wonder if he might have been meeting someone in the area or if he was trying to avoid someone on his way. The fact that it was found five days after his disappearance with his phone, radar detector, and keys still in the ignition just raises so many questions.
Has anyone come across more info on his movements leading up to his disappearance, like sightings at those Mississippi casinos? It seems like piecing together those last known activities might shed some light on what might have transpired. Curious if anyone else thinks the location of the car holds more significance than it might seem at first glance.
Has anyone else looked into the area where Edwin's car was found? I'm curious about the significance of the intersection at Highway 45 and Clarke Avenue in Prichard. Is it known for anything particular, like being a common spot for abandoned cars or any past incidents? It just seems strange that his car would be left there with his personal items inside. Also, could there have been any surveillance cameras nearby back in 1998, or businesses that might have seen something? Sometimes things we overlook at first can end up being crucial. Thoughts?
