Has anyone looked into the local gas stations in the Smuteye area to see if Steven Peel tried to refill his car? Given his phone died and he was out of gas, I wonder if he attempted to get help nearby. It's puzzling that his car was found the next day, but we're not hearing much about the area surrounding where it was discovered. Sometimes revisiting the places he might have passed through or the stops he made can offer some clues. If he did run out of gas as he mentioned, perhaps someone at a nearby station remembers seeing him or someone else picking him up. Just a thought!
