I've been following John Beardslee Worton's case since it came to my attention a few months ago, and I've just been wondering about the weather conditions in Big Coppitt Key around the time he disappeared. January can be pretty unpredictable in Florida - sometimes chilly, other times mild. Did anyone local notice anything unusual with the weather that might have affected John's safety or travel plans that day? Maybe strong winds or unexpected rain that could have set him off course? Just thinking out loud, but any insights could be helpful!

Has anyone looked into the possibility of wildlife or environmental factors affecting John Worton's disappearance? I know Big Coppitt Key has its share of natural dangers, like alligators and tricky terrain. It's kind of scary to think about, especially since there's been no information on where he might have gone or what might have happened. I wonder if there were any recent reports of wildlife incidents in the area around that time or if there's been any search efforts focusing on more isolated natural areas. It just seems like a possibility that's worth considering, given the location. What do others think?
