Does anyone else find it chilling that Glinda was the first in this terrible series of events around Fairbanks? It almost feels as though the killer was so bold, targeting young women in such a similar manner. It’s hard to fathom the fear and uncertainty that must have gripped the community back then. Glinda seemed like she was just starting her life with her young family, and to think about her husband coming home to find their baby alone... it's just unfathomable. I keep wondering what might have been going through her mind in those last moments. I feel for all the families affected by this. It's truly a reminder of how fragile life can be and how evil can lurk even in the most unexpected places. Anyone else have thoughts on the connection between these cases before Bunday’s confession came to light?
Hi everyone,
I've been reading up on Glinda Sodemann's case and am stuck on something I can't quite wrap my head around. From what I gathered, it's haunting to think about how her husband came home to find their baby alone. I can't imagine the panic and fear he must have felt in that moment. It was disturbing that he initially became a suspect, although I guess it's often someone close to the victim in these cases. Even though he failed a polygraph test, I feel like his life must have been upended, especially with a baby to care for amidst all that chaos. Does anyone here have thoughts on how law enforcement handled early suspect evaluations back in those days? It's so sad knowing Glinda and others lost their lives due to one person's heinous actions. As always, sending love and prayers to their families who undoubtedly continue to feel their loss daily.
