I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the children involved, the kids of Ronald Fischer and the woman Sullivan was dating. I can’t even begin to imagine how confusing and painful this must be for them. Losing a father to such violent acts, both as a perpetrator and through his imprisonment, can leave lasting scars. And Sullivan, by all accounts, seemed like such a dedicated and compassionate person, trying to make a difference even in a smaller community like Utqiaġvik. He didn't deserve this fate, and those kids didn’t deserve to have their lives shattered like this. I hope they receive the love and support they need to get through these trying times. Does anyone know if there's a way to support them or any initiatives in place to help families dealing with such trauma?
