I was reading up on Sentwali Howard's case and came across details about the involvement of the K9 unit. It's amazing to see how these incredible dogs played a crucial role in tracking down Beasley so quickly after the incident. They were able to follow his trail all the way to the Parkwood Inn. It's hard to imagine the pressure the officers must have been under to locate Beasley, especially knowing the chaos the shooting caused. My heart goes out to Sentwali’s loved ones. It must be unbelievably difficult knowing that something so senseless took him away. It's a small relief to know that the resources and teamwork led to Beasley’s swift capture and peaceful resolution with the SWAT team. I hope the family finds some comfort in the pursuit of justice.

I heard about the standoff involving the SWAT team at the Parkwood Inn after the incident. Can you imagine how terrifying that must have been for the residents and everyone involved? It makes me wonder about the person who stayed behind during the raid—what was going through their mind? The fear and uncertainty of standing in a room as police negotiators tried to peacefully resolve things must have been overwhelming. My thoughts are with Sentwali’s family. It’s hard enough to lose someone you love, let alone under such brutal circumstances. I hope they find some solace in the community’s support and in knowing that justice is being pursued.
