I've been thinking a lot about the role of the detached garage in Crystal's case. It seems like such a small detail, but I can't help but wonder how it played into the events of that tragic night. Was it just an unfortunate setting, or did it somehow make them more vulnerable? My heart goes out to Crystal's family and friends who must be grappling with so many "what ifs." It's chilling to think how a seemingly ordinary evening could turn so horrific. How do spaces around us, those we assume are safe, become stages for such violence? I'm sending love to anyone close to Crystal and hoping you find some peace amidst such senseless tragedy.

I was just reading about the terrible events that happened in Wasilla, and I’m struggling to wrap my head around the fear and chaos that Crystal and the others must have felt that night. I can't help but think about the trauma experienced by the survivor who managed to escape – being shot and still finding the willpower to paddle across a lake for help is beyond courageous. My heart goes out to them as they try to piece their life back together after witnessing such horror. It’s reassuring that justice was served with the conviction, but I can only hope that the families and friends of the victims find some peace and healing in the aftermath of this tragedy.
