I've been following the Brandy Sullivan case and something that's really been on my mind is the impact this must have had on their two kids. I mean, they were right there in the house during the attack. I can't imagine the trauma and fear they must be dealing with now. It's not just the loss of their mom but the fact their dad, who they probably trusted, was responsible. I really hope they're getting the support they need from other family members or counseling services. It's these innocent kids who truly bear the brunt of such violence, and it’s just so unfair. Any thoughts on how communities can better support children who've been through something this horrible?
Has anyone else been thinking about the impact on Brandy and Adam's kids? I can't even imagine the trauma they must have experienced, not just witnessing something so awful, but losing their mother in such a brutal way and their father to prison. It's heartbreaking to think about how their lives have been altered forever. I hope they are receiving all the support and love they need from family and mental health professionals. No child should have to go through something like this. It's tough to find the right words, but I'm sending strength and healing vibes to them and anyone close to Brandy.
