Hey everyone, I came across an article about Maria Romero Ortiz, and it got me thinking about how organizations like the Texas Department of Public Safety are handling these types of cases. I mean, with so many missing children's reports coming in every year, it must be tough to give each case the attention it deserves. Does anyone have insights into how these departments allocate their resources or if there are any programs in place to help manage the workload? It seems like they are doing their best, but I wonder if there are ways for us as a community to better support their efforts. Any thoughts?

Hey everyone. I’ve been following Maria Romero Ortiz’s case closely, and one thing that stands out to me is the role schools and teachers might play in these situations. I wonder if there’s any protocol or awareness programs in local schools that help identify when students might be at risk of going missing. A lot of times, kids show signs at school that could be overlooked. It would be great if more resources were allocated toward training educators to spot these red flags and know how to act. Anyone know if schools in Houston have something like that in place? I think it could make a big difference!
