I’ve been mulling over the fact that Ben left his dog, Sioux, back at the ranch when he headed out on that fateful ride. For a guy like Ben, who seemed to have such a strong bond with his animals, it’s baffling. From what I've read, Sioux was more than just a pet; he was Ben's companion and part of his daily life. Leaving Sioux behind doesn’t fit with Ben’s nature or routine from everything the family has shared. Could this detail indicate that Ben wasn’t planning on being gone that long or that he left abruptly under unexpected circumstances? I'm wondering if anyone else sees this as a red flag. It just seems out of character given his deep connection to his animals, and it’s one of those aspects of the case that I can’t quite wrap my head around. Thoughts?

I came across something interesting while diving into Ben Tyner's case that hasn't been widely discussed. Has anyone taken a close look at that broken rein on Gunny? If Gunny was indeed spooked by something, it's unusual for just one rein to break without a clear sign of struggle or damage to the saddle. I wonder if it points to some kind of altercation that happened, possibly involving another person. Perhaps an attempt to lead Gunny away went wrong, and something startled him, causing the rein to snap? It seems like a small clue, but sometimes these little details could be key to unraveling such mysteries. If anyone has thoughts or insights, especially those familiar with horses, it would be great to hear them.
