Has anyone on this forum had experience with or insights into the underground tunnel systems around Las Vegas, particularly behind the Rio? The conditions and people living in them seem quite unique and, from what I understand, can be risky, especially if storms hit. I'm wondering if anyone could share their thoughts about what Nicholas might have encountered down there. It's worrying that Nicholas was last known to be heading to those tunnels to meet a friend. The idea of a network that large being mostly unknown to many of us while some rely on it for shelter really piques my curiosity. I've read about flash floods hitting unexpectedly, turning the area into a torrent. Could it be that Nicholas was caught off guard by one? Just trying to wrap my head around the potential risks he might have faced and if there’s more outreach or aid available for people in those tunnels. Any insight would be appreciated.
