Have any of you been to Batsto Village recently? I find it interesting that John R. Stout was last associated with that area—it’s such a popular spot for hikers and people kayaking in Wharton State Forest. Given how dense and sprawling the Pine Barrens are, I'm curious about local search efforts. Has anyone heard if they've organized search teams or if volunteers are getting involved? Sometimes locals know the trails better than anyone. It's a place that can seem calm and picturesque, but I can’t imagine how overwhelming it must be to search such vast terrain. Doesn't it seem like a place where someone might go to find solitude? Thoughts welcome!
