Has anyone heard more about Thomas' financial situation? It seems really strange to me that his finances were left completely untouched after his disappearance. If he was planning to move to Mexico, wouldn’t he at least need some of his money for travel expenses? It seems like he had something planned, yet didn't use any funds to follow through. Could it be that something happened during his train journey that prevented him from accessing his accounts? This whole situation has me puzzled. Would love to hear any thoughts or theories on this aspect.

This guy was my step father. I'm not sure what I can say here without getting kicked off the website. But he was not coherent enough to make "plans." He was a long term drug addict with a record of it. His money was from welfare. My theory is he was kicked off the train at some point for being disruptive and probably perished in a ditch somewhere.
