I've been following the tragic case of Cardarrius Bryant and Deforest Chanier Kines Jr., and it's incredibly upsetting to think about the impact on their families and friends. I was reading some reports about the incident and something that struck me was the time of day it happened—right around 10 in the morning. It’s such a busy time with people starting their day, and it just goes to show how sudden and senseless these acts of violence can be. It's hard to imagine what their loved ones must be going through, especially witnessing the community coming together for the funeral services for Cardarrius. I really hope anyone who might know something feels compelled to reach out to the authorities. The sooner this case can be resolved, the sooner the families might find some semblance of peace. Keep strong, Birmingham. Let's hope for justice soon.
