Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Sarah Mitchell who went missing from the treatment facility in Nevada last month. One thing that caught my attention is the lack of security footage. Is it common for these places to not have comprehensive surveillance systems? You'd think with the number of people coming in and out daily, there would be at least some monitoring in place. This feels like a key piece of the puzzle that could potentially lead to some answers. Anyone with experience or knowledge of these facilities have any thoughts on this?
I came across the case of Jason Thompson, who went missing from a rehabilitation facility in Phoenix, AZ, on July 10th, and it got me thinking about the policies at these places. Has anyone else noticed how a lot of these facilities don't have enough security measures in place to keep residents from just walking out? I mean, I understand that we can't force adults to stay if they don't want to, but it would be nice if more facilities had tracking systems or even just better fencing. It’s really worrying to think about how many people might leave and find themselves in danger, especially those who aren't thinking clearly due to their conditions. Any thoughts on what can be done to improve this?
