I've been following Phillip Woody's case for a while now, and it keeps tugging at my heart. One thing that's been puzzling me is the lack of any witnesses coming forward. North Spruce Street isn't exactly deserted, especially around 9 p.m. You'd think someone would have seen or heard something. It's so tragic for his family, who are undoubtedly desperate for answers and closure after all these years. Is there a possibility that people are too scared to speak out, or is it more likely no one actually saw the shooter? If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail could help bring justice for Phillip. It's been too long, and his family deserves to know what happened to their son.
Has anyone else thought about the timing of Phillip Woody's murder on North Spruce Street? An 18-year-old losing their life is so tragic, and it happened at a time when people would have been coming home from work or going out for the evening. It's hard to believe that no one saw anything.
I wonder if there's a possibility that someone who may have seen something thought it was just normal city noise, like fireworks or a car backfire. In such a busy area, it’s easy for things to be overlooked. If anyone remembers being around that area on March 23, 2003, maybe even think back to the atmosphere. Were people acting unusually? Did you notice cars speeding away? I truly hope that someone’s memory can help piece this together, for Phillip and his family. Let’s keep sharing and keep looking out for anything that might seem relevant. They deserve answers.
I was thinking about the area where Phillip Woody was killed—North Spruce Street in Wilmington. Does anyone here know what that neighborhood was like back in 2003? Was it generally considered safe, or were there reports of other incidents around that time? Understanding the context of the area might help in piecing together what happened that night. My heart goes out to Phillip's family and friends, not having closure after all these years must be so difficult. Every bit of information helps, so if anyone remembers anything about the neighborhood dynamics or has any details from that period, please share.
