I’ve been thinking about the timeline regarding Leslie’s fishing trip. The friend he went with is a critical piece of the puzzle. Has anyone else come across any details about their relationship? Were they longtime buddies, or was this a relatively new friend? It just seems odd that no one's heard anything from the friend since this whole thing started. Everyone's focusing on Leslie, rightfully so, but understanding the nature of this friendship could really shed light on what happened during those days by the river. Thoughts?
I've been following Leslie's case since it first came to light, and I can't stop wondering about the friend he went fishing with. Has anyone heard if the authorities have tracked this person down or got their side of the story? It seems odd that we've not seen much info about this "friend" in the updates. Was this someone Leslie fished with regularly, or was this an out-of-the-blue trip? You'd think there'd be more details if they were the last person who saw him.
Also, I'm curious if any of you are local to Oscoda and know if the Pine River is a preferred spot for fishing? Sometimes where a missing person was last seen can tell us something about the situation. It’s these little details that are sticking with me. Praying for some news soon.
