Hey everyone, I recently came across a local news article about a missing person case that's been bugging me. It's about Nathaniel Greene, who went missing last month. The part that really caught my attention is that Nathaniel was last seen leaving his favorite hiking trail up in the mountains. Some people say he was familiar with the area, but wouldn’t you think there'd be more of a trail left behind if he got lost?
The search teams didn’t find any of Nathaniel’s gear, which is odd because if he was planning a longer hike, wouldn’t he have packed more equipment for the trip? Has anyone here experienced search efforts in thick forest areas and can weigh in on how hard it is to find traces of someone when they disappear like this? It’s like he vanished without a trace, and gear just doesn’t disappear like that. Wondering if there might be other ideas out there on what might have happened.
