Has anyone else been thinking about how senseless this tragedy is? It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that something as trivial as a parking space dispute could lead to someone losing their life. Michael Alexander McGee was only 42, and now his family is dealing with this unimaginable loss. It just makes me think about how fragile life is and the importance of finding peaceful resolutions to conflicts. I really hope the charges against Curtis and Joshua Sanders help bring some sense of justice and closure to Michael’s loved ones. It’s a reminder for us all to be more patient and understanding with each other, as difficult as that might be sometimes. Has the community in Birmingham started any initiatives to promote conflict resolution since this happened? It would be encouraging to see some positive steps forward from such a tragic event.
