Hey everyone! Just wanted to bring up something I noticed about Billie Jean's case. Has anyone else wondered why there hasn't been much mention of any surveillance footage from Lathrop High School? It's 2023, and you'd think there would be cameras around to at least capture her movements before she disappeared. With her being last seen at 2:20 PM, it seems like a busy time of day. I find it odd that there hasn't been any info released about what might've been captured on video. Maybe the footage has some leads, or does anyone know if LE has said something about it that I missed? Just trying to get all the puzzle pieces together!
Has anyone looked into the possibility of Billie Jean trying to catch a ride out of Fairbanks? I've heard stories about teenagers hitchhiking, especially when they're upset or wanting to leave in a hurry. Given that she was last seen at Lathrop High School around 2:20 in the afternoon, it's possible she could have tried to leave town before anyone noticed she was missing. Have any truck stops or bus stations been checked for surveillance footage around that time? It might be worth looking into this angle if it hasn't been considered yet.
