I've been following the Durham case closely, and one detail I can't stop thinking about is the courage it must have required for Holli to protect her sons in those final moments. As a mother myself, I imagine that she would have done anything to shield them. It truly brings tears to my eyes thinking about the unbearable fear they all must have felt. This tragedy highlights how important it is for communities to come together and support families, not just in times of loss, but to help prevent these situations from arising. My heart goes out to their friends and family as they navigate this unimaginable grief.
