Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Javian Stone, and I wanted to touch on something that doesn't get mentioned enough: the potential these young lives held before the tragedy on Carnation Drive. Javian wasn’t just another name in the headlines; he was an outstanding athlete with so much promise ahead of him. Reading about his pitching stats from his time at East Central Community College and later, the University of West Alabama, just makes the loss feel even harder to process. His future in baseball seemed bright, and who knows what he could have achieved both on and off the field. It really hits home how senseless violence robs not only families of their loved ones but the world of people who could have made a significant impact. My heart goes out to Javian's family, friends, and teammates as they navigate through such a deeply painful time. If anyone has more stories or memories of him as a friend or player, feel free to share. I think it’s important for us to remember who he was beyond the tragedy.
