Has anyone else been trying to find more info about Emily Mendez’s phone pinging that day she disappeared? I remember reading somewhere that her phone last pinged near the Pine Trailhead parking lot, but then it went silent. With all the hiking trails around there and the dense forest, I wonder if she got lost or if it was a planned meeting spot. It seems like such a secluded area for her to just go off the grid. Have any search parties focused extensively on that area? Maybe someone local can share if there were any unusual happenings or sightings around there around that time.
I’ve been following the case of Michael Rivera since he went missing on May 21, 2025, and something about the timeline doesn't sit right with me. Does anyone else think it’s odd that there was such a long gap between when Michael was reported missing and when the police first made an appeal for information? It was almost two whole weeks! I understand there are procedure and bureaucracy issues, but wouldn't there be more urgency if they suspected foul play early on? Curious to hear if anyone has any insights into why such delays happen or if you’ve noticed this in other cases. It just feels like time is of the essence in these situations.
