I find it intriguing how the Detroit Police Department is handling Christopher Robinson's case under the cold case unit despite it still being relatively recent. It makes me think there must be something really unusual about his disappearance that warranted this approach. I wonder if they'll try using new technology on the case—like those fancy forensic methods you see on TV—and what kind of collaboration they might have with federal resources. Detroit isn't exactly a small place, and with few leads, it's like finding a needle in a haystack. Has anyone noticed if his case has gotten any more media attention recently? More eyes on the case might spur some fresh information from the public.
Did anyone else find it odd that Robinson's phone was left at his house? I read somewhere that investigators think he might have been planning to go somewhere close by since he left without it, but then you think—who doesn’t take their phone these days? It makes me wonder if he intended to return quickly or if something unexpected happened right after he left.
