Took an interest in this case. She has ran away before, but the difference this time was her mother, Angelica Berardi, dying months earlier in January. She ran away at 11pm meaning I suspect she left on foot. The buses near there don't run at those times, and in FL you can't bring any non-service animals onto a bus (emotional support doesn't count). No mention of her ever owning a car. I doubt she ever contacted anybody to pick her up because wouldn't the police literally have that info since she left her phone? So she ran away in the middle of the night to somewhere she could easily get to without needing a GPS meaning she knew where she was going especially when bringing the cat. There is a nearby youth shelter not far from where she was called Crosswinds. It's a two hour walk; however, it's a pretty straight path to get there without GPS. I think I saw she may have a relative that is a vet living in Satelitte Beach, but it's a long not so easy path to get to without GPS. My bet is she went North, went to a shelter or a friend she really could trust. The fact it's been over a year now and assuming she hasn't been abducted or killed, she probably is working right now and living still in FL, a nearby state, or NY (she has previous residence there or has family there from what I saw; her FB). Best case; she set herself up somewhere (not a great set up, but surviving) or with a friend. She does have a family member in St. Augustine, FL. But idk. Unless the police actually release what they know, we probably won't be able to piece together more than some casual OSINT leg work.

I was reading up on Atraya's case, and there's something really puzzling about her leaving with the cat. From what I understand, Atraya left most of her stuff behind but made sure to bring her cat in a pet carrier. This detail makes me wonder if her departure was more planned than impulsive, despite her history of running away. Maybe she intended to go somewhere specific where she'd be able to take care of her cat? Given her difficult year, moving in with relatives and all, it could be worth looking into any potential connections she might have had outside the family. Anything unusual about the night she disappeared could provide more insight, like, was there anyone in her life who would've assisted her in leaving Rockledge?
