Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of the missing sailors Kerry, Frank, and William, and it's been weighing on my mind. I wanted to bring up something that hasn't been discussed much – the *Ocean Bound* itself. As someone who's done a fair bit of sailing, I'm wondering if anyone knows about any previous mechanical issues or concerns with their vessel? Even though they were all experienced, things can still go wrong, especially on long trips. Could there have been a problem with their GPS or communication systems that led them off course? It’s baffling to me that no debris has been found despite such an extensive search. Any insights from those familiar with that type of vessel or similar voyages would be great! Let's keep discussing all possibilities and hope we find answers soon.
Thanks!
I’ve been following the case of Kerry O'Brien, Frank O'Brien, and William Gross and can't stop thinking about the unexpected weather conditions out at sea. As an amateur sailor myself, it’s unnerving how quickly things can turn with the weather, even for someone with extensive experience. I’m curious if anyone knows more about the typical routes from Mazatlán to San Diego in terms of reported weather patterns during that time of year? It seems like adverse conditions might've played a part, but without concrete evidence, it’s all just speculation. It just makes me wonder if more could be done regarding real-time weather updates for sailors. Would that have made a difference here? My heart goes out to their loved ones, who, I'm sure, are desperate for any answers. If anyone hears of updates on this mystery, please share!
